How refunds work
The browser-only readiness check costs nothing and collects no payment. We review paid orders case by case, with particular attention to failed delivery, duplicate payment, accidental purchase, fraud, or a report that is materially unavailable.
Common refund cases
- Readiness check: no payment is collected, so there is no refund.
- Idea checks: review is available when the research cannot start, fails permanently, or the report cannot be delivered.
- Catalog purchases: review is available for duplicate payment, an unexpected availability conflict, or failed report delivery.
- Custom searches: review depends on the agreed scope, whether work has started, and whether the promised shortlist can be delivered.
- Duplicate payment or accidental purchase: contact support quickly with the account email, order id, and Stripe receipt details.
- Failed delivery: support investigates the order and either restores access, reruns the research, delivers the report manually, or approves a refund.
Digital delivery and immediate access
Some purchases provide immediate digital access or begin custom work. Depending on applicable law, cancellation rights may change after access is granted or work begins. We explain this before checkout, and your order remains visible under Billing.
How to request a review
Use Contact and include the account email, order reference, purchase type, what went wrong, and whether you want a refund, rerun, or delivery repair. Approved refunds return through Stripe to the original payment method.
